Capel Sound Foreshores are open to the public for camping from the start of September until the end of April each year with education programs, schools and community groups encouraged all year round. We have a commitment to the ongoing protection, restoration and enhancement of the environment whilst practicing environmentally sustainable camping.
Important Information
Our campgrounds are compromised of Sections A, B and C in Capel Sound and Section F, G and H in Tootgarook.

Premium Powered (beach front): Section F
Unpowered: Section G and H
Premium Non-Powered (beach front): Section G
All campsites have dedicated taps with potable water.

Key Terms and Conditions Summary:
Animals of any kind are prohibited.
Check-in after 2 pm and checkout by 12 pm.
Maximum 6 x people per site.
Maximum 1 x registered Caravan (Towed vehicle) per site.
Maximum 2 x Vehicles. Vehicles INCLUDE watercraft such as boats and jet skis.
The entire setup (including all vehicles) must fit within site boundaries.
All caravans and trailers must be positioned so that tow hitch (A-frame) is facing the track (vehicle access point).
A minimum unobstructed separation of 1200mm from vegetation and other sites, as well as a unobstructed separation of 2000mm from any buildings at all times.
Maximum 20kg of LPG with gas valves vented away from any structure/vents/windows/doors (Energy Safe Victoria Guidelines).
Grey water must be captured and disposed of at the dump point located at each amenity block.
Noise must be kept to a minimum after 11 pm.
No fires, generators, e-scooters.
Ropes may not be tied to vegetation.
